Tegelt on lihtne päeva töö kui ise teed.
1. Put the car on axle stands under the correct jacking points - the higher the better.
2. Remove wheels
3. Remove ARB drop-links - can be a PITA but as yours have been done recently shouldn't be too bad
3a(edit). Remove the long bolt in the bottom of the suspension fork that passes through the lower wishbone.
4. Undo exhaust at down pipe
5. Undo the exhaust heatshield along the length of the car, just leave the rear-most bolts connected and let it hang down
6. Remove the rear engine mount, 3 bolts on the gearbox (tight) and the small nuts where the mount is attached to body/chassis (not the big bolt that passes through the middle), no need to support the engine, it won't go anywhere.
7. Remove all the bolts on the rear edge of the subframe, two of which are for the steering rack and are very tight.
8. Remove bolts for the ARB, these are up in holes in the subframe.
9. The subframe is now only held by 2 long bolts through 2 'wings' of the subframe, you'll find them directly above the in hole in the lower wishbone. One of the 'wings' has some pipework bolted to the inside edge (well, there is on the GT) so undo that if needed. Place a jack under the centre of the subframe, not sure what sort of jack you have but a decent bit of wood between the jack and the subframe is a good idea.
10. Undo the long bolts in the 'wings', don't think they have to come out all the way, just far enough for you to lower the subframe on the jack low enough to wriggle the ARB out. (edit: looks like they do have to be removed completely)
11. If you're just replacing the bushes make sure the ARB is in pristine condition by the bushes, else a rusty/pitted ARB will accelerate the failure of any replacement bushes. The old mounts have to be drilled at the rivets to split them, pop your new suitably lubricated bushes in, the mounts will be fine when bolted back to the subframe.
12. Slide the new/rebushed ARB back into place, and pop the ARB bolts in while the subframe is still lowered.
13. Now comes the tricky bit, getting the subframe to line back up again. It can be frustrating and I can offer no real advice other than you'll get there in the end. What you must take care to do is make sure the steering rack bolts go in cleanly, the rack is alloy and can easily be cross-threaded.
14. Put everything else back together.

No special tools required and should be easliy doable in a day, even first time. The only tricky bits are getting the old ARB drop-links off and getting the subfame to line up.

:icon_thumbup:
